Chairman’s message
Dear Friends,
CTFAS was created in 1991 to regroup cosmetic companies in Singapore in an Association whose goals were to promote ethics, compliance and product quality.
The Association has grown, joined forces with like-minded associations in other ASEAN countries to create the ASEAN Cosmetic Association (ACA), worked in partnership with the regulatory agencies to create and promote a harmonized regulatory scheme. The ASEAN Cosmetic Directive was signed in 2003 and implemented in phases between 2008 and 2011.
Since then, CTFAS has also been working to establish a global network of Associations and is now connected to every part of the World, promoting exchanges on issues, ideas as well as possible collaborations between national organisations.
CTFAS is also very active in ISO, promoting the use of international standards to help eliminate barriers to trade.
