DESCRIPTION:On 17th Apr 2024\, we held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) alongside the 1st Committee Meeting of the year and a Tea Talk session at StoneForest. \nThe AGM provided an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past year and outline strategic plans for the upcoming term. This was followed by the inaugural Committee Meeting for 2024\, where key initiatives and goals were discussed. \nThe day concluded with an engaging Tea Talk featuring speakers from National Parks Singapore (NPARKS) and the Singapore Environment Council (SEC). Discussions centered on sustainability\, environmental conservation\, and collaborative opportunities\, leaving attendees inspired and informed. \nThe event was a productive start to the year\, fostering meaningful dialogue and setting the tone for impactful initiatives in 2024. \n

This event provided valuable insights and opportunities for members and stakeholders in the cosmetics and personal care industry. \nKey topics included: \n\nCTFAS’s market access initiatives for China\nRegulatory strategies for Singapore SMEs entering the Chinese cosmetic market\nRegulatory updates for ASEAN and beyond.\nBriefing on the new WSQ Specialist Diploma in Personal Care Science that will be launched soon.\n\nThe event also featured the presentation of the CTFAS Gold Award for 2023/ 2024 to Ms Ng Voon Kunn (Specialist Diploma in Cosmetic Science\, Singapore Polytechnic\, Academic Year 2023/2024)\, celebrating excellence in the industry. \nAttendees had the chance to network and exchange ideas\, further enriching the session. \nThis Tea Talk was a testament to CTFAS’s dedication to empowering its members with knowledge\, resources\, and connections to excel in the dynamic cosmetics landscape. \n
