CTFAS recently held an interactive hands-on full-day workshop on Mastering PIF Organization for Cosmetic Product Notifications at the Singapore Polytechnic.

The workshop was split into 2 sessions: morning and afternoon. The morning session was conducted by Dr. Alain Khaiat and was all about Product Information Files (PIFs) – how to prepare, audit, and respond to regulatory agencies in the event of an audit.

The afternoon session was conducted by Dr. Bhashkar Mukerji and was about the principles of hazard and risk assessment and how they relate to safety assessment. The participants also learned how to prepare a safety assessment following ASEAN requirements and how to audit this.

We had more than 50 participants from various companies and industries within Singapore and around the region such as from Malaysia, the Phillippines, and even from Korea.
